Trip to Kingman and Prescott: October 2020

When the trip with Mom to Bisbee and Tucson was cancelled, I still felt the urge to go somewhere on my own. I wanted to go to Carson City, but by the time I got past Las Vegas, I realized that I would not be able to squeeze the trip into the seven days set aside. There are museums in Kingman and Prescott that I had not visited yet, so I decided to turn around and head there instead.

Looking up towards "The Cavern Suite" which you could stay in overnight (currently closed). Beyond is a sound stage with seats recovered from a historic Hollywood movie theater.

The cave is a designated fallout shelter, supposedly for up to 2000 people, believe it or not.
